Which are the EnChroma Lx lens offerings and how are they different?

EnChroma Lx1 Light Amber is a Category 1 lens (80% Transmission), engineered for use in low-light conditions such as indoor use, screen, nighttime glare management and/or overcast days for some. Unlike conventional amber or yellow lenses, the Lx1 delivers a “brightening but not dazzling” effect without causing undesirable color distortion. Ideal for adults 50+ needing low level glare control as well as for people with diverse visual challenges. All Lx lenses provide Blue Light Filtering and 100% UV Protection.

EnChroma Lx2 Copper is a Category 2 lens (36% Transmission), ideal for its versatility to be worn outdoors in lower light conditions as well as indoor in bright conditions depending on vision challenges. It improves visual comfort, contrast, and color perception and  is ideal for people who dislike dark sunglasses. All Lx lenses provide Blue Light Filtering and 100% UV Protection.

EnChroma Lx3 Chestnut is a Category 3 lens (12% Transmission), designed to help control significant glare from outdoor sun while enhancing color to improve visual comfort, contrast, and color perception. The Lx3 is an ideal all-around sunwear lens for well-lit outdoor environments and to help “quiet the eyes” and optimize visual perception. All Lx lenses provide Blue Light Filtering and 100% UV Protection.

EnChroma Lx4 Deep Chestnut is an ultra-dark Category 4 lens (3% Transmission) that manages extreme glare while providing light, color and blue-light blocking technology. This unique filter design can increase the brightness of colors up to 2x over the background luminance while also cutting glare. The result can help to optimize visual perception and enhance mobility to improve the ability to see safety markings, lights, and signs. This lens is designed for people with significant  light sensitivities and extreme photophobia as in more advanced retinitis pigmentosa, achromatopsia and albinism. All Lx lenses provide Blue Light Filtering and 100% UV Protection.
